FROM BIG AI AMBITIoN
TO A TESTABLE bet.
Helping a founder turn a wide field of AI possibilities into a focused strategy, priority concepts and a disciplined way to test what was actually worth building.
01
The challenge
A founder-led initiative had a big ambition around the role it could play as AI reshaped economies, institutions and opportunity.
There was no shortage of ideas. Training. Investment. New institutions. Convenings. Research. Physical innovation hubs.
The harder question was where this particular organisation could make a distinctive contribution, and which ideas were worth committing serious time and capital to.
02
What we did
Designed and led an intensive strategy process to turn ambition into choices.
We helped define the longer-term direction, identify the audiences and needs that mattered most, generate and prioritise opportunity areas, and turn the strongest ideas into concrete concepts with assumptions, partners, business models, measures of success and first tests.
One of the most ambitious concepts then moved into a dedicated viability sprint, using stakeholder conversations and targeted research to test demand, potential supply, existing alternatives, incentives and the assumptions most likely to break the idea.
03
What we built
A clearer strategic direction and a disciplined path from idea to evidence: priority bets, testable concepts, decision criteria and a viability process designed to determine whether the strongest idea should move forward, be refined or stop.

WHAT HAPPENED (hidden until you confirm a result you are comfortable publishing): add a fourth numbered block “What happened” with the outcome, e.g. participants, prototypes taken forward, commitments kept, capital deployed.
Bring us the next important thing.
Tell us what’s pressing, what you’ve tried and why it matters now. A few sentences are enough.
